The monogram represents CHS plans for healthcare services on all four zones in India and also its progressive growth in those regions.
It also states four broad sectors that are planned under the CHS domain namely chain of multi super specialty hospitals, Medical tourism, Research institutes and healthcare information technology solutions.
Finally it depicts the medical symbol as well. |

An overview
Cethar Hospitals is one of the largest growing super specialty healthcare provider chains located in Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu. The main objective is to provide high end integrated healthcare delivery to Tier II cities all over India with a long term focus to become a healthcare leader through establishment of 15,000 beds.
Cethar Hospitals, founded by eminent Industrialist and first generation entrepreneur Mr. K. Subburaj, who is also the founder chairman of CETHAR group of companies. His vision which transformed the idea of providing a world class healthcare facility to this region with high standards of medical infrastructure with global expertise has made Cethar Hospitals a reality.
The primary goal of the organization is to provide high quality clinical services to enhance the well being of the people through redefined excellence in healthcare. By providing so, it caters to the needs of the people in central and southern part of Tamil Nadu. The hospital will provide state of art facilities which deliver high standards of healthcare in various specialties through dedicated medical experts.
Currently a 30 bedded specialty hospital is focusing on Medical and surgical gastroenterology, liver disease including liver transplant surgeries, Women and Child care, is planned and will be commissioned by January 2012 in Tiruchirapalli. The hospital will also have in house radiology, anesthesiology, critical care and laboratory services to support the specialty services.
Developments are taking place for a 300 bedded state of art super multi specialty hospital to be operational by 2014 which will be tertiary and quarterly care referrals centre for the central and southern Tamil Nadu.
Cethar is also planning for a 3000 bedded health city which will be operational by 2017 to provide global standards in quality care to entire Tamil Nadu and adjacent states and also plans to promote medical tourism which attracts countries namely Sri lanka, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and other developing South East Asian countries.
All the hospitals will have continuous access to the latest developments in the field, will strive for professional excellence and innovation with key focus on continual quality improvement and will transform healthcare in Information Technology way. |

Mrs. Srividhya Subburaj – Karthick
Masters in Information Technology and Super specialization in E – Commerce in prestigious Middlesex University, United Kingdom has worked in various divisions of Cethar Group. She has successfully lead and executed three research projects in a relatively short time frame in the organization relating to Oil & Gas, Coal production & consumption, Biometrics and smart card functions. Currently she is involved in the HR functions, Public relations and CSR of the Cethar and also actively involved in Business development of the healthcare venture. Her role is key in Manpower management and possesses very good interpersonal communication skills. |

Mr. Karthick Sivakumar – Executive Director
Masters in International Finance and super specialty in International Management Finance & Legal Management in the prestigious Thames Valley University, United Kingdom, has worked in Hilton Group PLC in Glasgow as Territorial Head, Hilton Financial Services in London as District Manager for three years, and in various divisions of Cethar Group. He has successfully lead and managed projects in Cethar Energy. Currently involved in Corporate Planning and Business Development, Administration, Finance, HR Functions, Marketing, Legal, Public Relations, CSR activities of Cethar Healthcare Services Private Limited.
He plays a key role in providing his expertise in the spheres of general management apart from the day to day to management of the medical services of CETHAR Hospitals.

Current Highlights and Technology
Gastroenterology and Liver diseases
One of key feature will be facilities, infrastructure and equipments to perform major Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic & liver transplant and minimally invasive surgery.
State of art modular operation theatre (Infection free), advanced operating tables and theatre lights (LED) with equipments to cut the liver with water without blood loss and tissue loss (essential for living donor liver transplantation).
Laser and Laparoscopic Surgery
To perform advanced laparoscopic surgery will have 3 chip HD Camera and harmonic scalpel for bloodless surgery and lasers for haemorrhoidectomy and endoscopic surgery. For endoscopy and ERCP procedures we are having Olympus scopes and C –arms (Siemens)
Women and child care
The hospital will also feature a full time women and child care unit. To support this, the hospital will have two obstetrician and gynecologist to provide exclusive care for the women and a neonatologist to handle child care. Four bedded advanced NICU has been set up to care for the new born besides fully equipped labor rooms to handle all obstetric emergencies.
Critical and Intensive care
Hospital also features four intensive care beds actively managed by 3 Anesthetists and Intensivists. ICU beds are equipped with high end ventilators, monitors, drug delivery systems etc. Trained nurses and physician assistants are available round the clock.
Radiology
Radiology wing has high end ultra sonogram with obstetric and Doppler systems and 2000 MA HF X-Ray and a Mobile X-Ray from Siemens.
Overview
The hospital is fully air-conditioned with 8 single rooms, 8 bedded male deluxe, 5 bedded female deluxe wards for inpatient care and a labor suit, 4 bedded NICU and 4 bedded ICU. 24 Hours operational pharmacy and a state of art laboratory available and are connected to the OT, ICU, Wards through Swiss log pneumatic system. OPD consists of four consultant rooms, ECG and basic treatment rooms. |
